The Delta Belle is a comfortable, 5 bedroomed houseboat located in the panhandle region of the Okavango Delta. Moored at Shakawe, the Delta Belle is ideal for both small groups and families looking for an idyllic water safari. Activities include Tiger fishing, game viewing and birding.
There are more than 350 species of birds to spot on the waterways and guests will have the opportunity of seeing hippo, Nile crocodiles, Water monitors, Red Lechwe and a plethora of other wildlife. Avid fishermen will delight in the chance to catch Tiger fish, Barbel and African Pike which are found in abundance in this area. There is 1 tender boat which is used for activities. The fishing season is from March 1 to 31 December.
There are 3 cabins located on the lower deck and 2 cabins on the upper deck. The 5 cabins are furnished with twin beds and can only accommodate two persons. Guests have the option of enjoying a self-catered or catered houseboat.
