The Kalahari Desert dominates most parts of eastern and south-eastern Namibia. Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch is an oasis in midst of the imposing parallel dunes, conveying an atmosphere of freedom, pristine nature, warmth and safety. As the logo suggests, the ranch values conservation and education.
The Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch’s nerve center is an old rambling farmhouse, renovated as a reception area, comfortable lounge, dining room, bar, wine cellar, office, wellness centre and well-stocked library.
When not relaxing in or around the pool or watching the waterhole with a drink at your side, try a morning nature walk, a nature drive to explore the amazing red dunes, a sundowner atop a dune, viewing the resident cheetahs, or even a horse-back safari.
Well separated from each other, stand alone on stilts on top of the red dunes, with unsurpassed views to the south-west accross the dune landscape. Each with ensuite facitilities bath and shower, air-conditioning, coffee/tea station and mini bar.
Constructed with thick walls, 6 of these were built from plastered straw bales, and all the savanna chalets stand well apart from each other in the 'street' between the dunes with scenic views. Each with en-suite shower facilities, air-conditioning, coffee/tea station, mini bar & sleeper couch

Situated 1 Km from the lodge in a nearby street between the dunes. Each has a fully tiled ablution block with toilet, shower, washbasin and mirror, gas-fired hot water, solar lighting and romantic paraffin lamp lighting.
