Tarangire Swala Camp is located in the south west of Tarangire National Park, by the famous Gursi water system, offering an excellent location for wildlife viewing in and around the camp, and an exclusive location which means that camp guests rarely have to see other vehicles on game activities. It is about an hour from the gate and 90 minutes from Kura airstrip.
Twelve guest tents are on wooden decks and are shaded by tall acacia trees. All are within sight of the well-frequented waterhole. The camp is unfenced. Each tent has a personal butler, and is furnished with safari chairs, a sofa, and an en suite bathroom with hot and cold shower and a flush toilet.
The main dining area, deck and library, and even the pool, are lifted above ground, on stilts around an enormous and ancient baobab tree, allowing guests a wide view of waterhole, where an ever going parade of animals come right up to the camp to drink. 24/7 Water & Electricity.
