Founders Camp - The Founding Essence of Safari Spirit
Founders Camp comprises 6 Superior Chalets, 3 Family Chalets and 1 Superior Family Chalet – giving this camp a modern and vibrant energy that appeals to discerning individuals and modern-day families. Four of these superior chalets have been especially designed to accommodate families on safari with a convertible children’s room.
Also in Founders Camp, one can find the yoga deck, a sanctuary for quiet contemplation, beneath the shade of a 500-year-old ebony tree on the banks of the river, where daily yoga classes are held under the watchful eye of the nyala, bushbuck and monkeys.
Londolozi is a place where, like binary rings of a tree the founders - and each person thereafter - have served and left their mark. Over the years the ripple effect created by Londolozi’s alumni has spread our ethos far and wide across the African continent, and beyond. Ten bespoke and varied superior chalets repose in the shade of ancient Ebony and Matumi trees along the banks of the Sand River.

Founders Camp has 10 Superior chalets 2 of which are interleading. Chalets 6 and 7 are linked by a skywalk. This particular rooming option works incredibly well for families of 4 with older children. These chalets are set underneath the shade of ancient Ebony Trees along side the Sand River.
4 of Founders 10 Superior Chalets are stand-alone accommodation options. Set alongside the Sand River these rooms are perfect for Honeymooners, couples or 2 guests sharing. These rooms have private decks, Salas and plunge pools.
Founders Camp Family Chalets were created in response to the ever-growing family travel trend. These three chalets are perfect for families of 4 - parents travelling with 2 children between the ages of 6 and 11.. These chalets have a convertible entrance with an ensuite bathroom, main bedroom, and coupled amenities. These rooms are situated along a dry river bed, providing privacy and an excellent opportunity for bird watching.
The Founders Camp Superior Family Chalet was created in response to the ever-growing trend of family travel. This chalet is perfect for a family of 4 - parents travelling with young children or teenagers. This large suite has 2 bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms and coupled amenities.
