This safari is the grand tour of Tanzania combining the best of Tanzania starting in the North, then to the West and ending in the South. This is the wild side of the Crater - remote and untouched. Built to be entirely removable the whole camp sits on platforms 'pinned' into the ground and is Nomad's lightest footprint to date. The beautiful mess tent, with dining and lounge areas warmed by wood burning fires and kitted out with lots of comfy corners adorned with sheepskin.

Styled by Jo Cooke, with furniture made entirely in Tanzania by her husband George, Lamai has a unique and substantial look - both fresh and warm.  The furniture was made by former street-boys who have been trained up by expert furniture-maker, George.
