Pick up from your hotel and drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at your Lodge in good time for lunch via a short game drive. After Lunch and Check in, the afternoon would be at leisure to enjoy the facilities the Lodge has to offer before proceeding for an evening game drive. Return to the Lodge, Freshen Up, Dinner Served and Over Night Stay.

Early Morning Option: Hot Air Balloon. If you want to have this unique experience you will need to arise before dawn and we will take you on an exciting experience. You will have a little mini-breakfast (just to tide you over) and then fly over the animals for a unique view of the surrounding wildlife. Additional: $525/person
MAIN TOUR: After breakfast then depart for Nairobi via a game drive en-route to catch your flight to Arusha. Upon your arrival in Arusha you will be transferred to your Hotel for an Overnight stay in Arusha.

Check into your lodge in time for lunch, afternoon and evening will be at leisure to enjoy the facilities the lodge has to offer before proceeding for an evening game drive. Return to the Lodge. Early morning game drive, return to the lodge for Breakfast then depart to Ngorongoro Conservation area. A brief stopover at the Olduvai Gorge, it boasts a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution. Check in to the lodge in good time for lunch. Spend your evening at leisure enjoying the lodge facilities.
Dinner and overnight stay in Ngorongoro.
After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Late in the afternoon transfer to Arusha for an Overnight Stay.
Enjoy breakfast then transfer to Kilimanjaro airport to catch your flight to Nairobi for your onward flight to Kigali. Upon your arrival at Kigali you will be transferred to your Hotel for an overnight stay.
Kigali City Tour – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast, you will embark on a City Tour of Kigali plus visit some of the genocide memorial centers. After lunch, you will depart Rwanda on a scenic drive from Kigali through thousands of hills, coffee, tea and banana plantations to the border post foothills of the Mt. Volcanoes and into the beautiful Pearl of Africa – Uganda. The biggest part of this journey wends its way through beautiful rolling hills and terraced fields, as well as bamboo forests and montane forest of Echuya Forest Reserve. After crossing the border into Uganda, you will be transferred to your lodge overlooking the massive Bwindi Impenetrable forest.
Gorilla Trekking - Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for the headquarters of the Park for briefing before starting to track gorillas. We trek through the rainforest and bamboo covered slopes, accompanied by a guide and trackers, in search of a mountain gorilla family. The walking can sometimes be tough and long, but when you catch a glimpse of the magnificent silverback, any discomforts will be totally forgotten. These gentle giants are highly endangered and anyone suffering even the slightest of ailments including a cough will not be allowed to go this trek. When sighted, visitors will be guided to within 6 metres from the gorillas, sit around them for a whole hour while gazing into their big round eyes. These giants are so powerful and can sometimes weigh up to 250 kilos. Pictures with non-flash zoom lens can be taken. After an hour of experiencing the closest primate to human. You will retire for lunch. After trekking Gorillas, you will head out through the breath taking, ever green mountain country of terraced hills, to the beautiful wilderness of Ishasha plains that are a part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. A game drive through the open savannah of Acacia on the edge of the Albertine Rift valley will enable you view ‘Tree climbing Lions’ and other wild animals for overnight.
Chimpanzee Trekking / Boat Ride Kazinga Channel
After breakfast, transfer to the starting point for the Chimpanzee Trekking in the Kyambura gorge. We set off early in the morning and head to the Kyambura wildlife reserve. Here we will be able to track the chimpanzee in the tropical rain forest. We hike into the Kyambura river gorge as we search for the chimps. The beautiful river valley is home to many species of birds and butterflies.
After lunch, you’ll relax on an afternoon boat safari along the Kazinga Channel which joins Lake George and Lake Edward. Here, you will see a lot of hippos, as well as a variety of other animals which come to the waterhole to drink or bathe. You can expect to see buffalo, crocodile, bathing elephant, and a range of beautiful birds. This will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your tour. After the boat-safari you game drive back to the lodge.
Today, you’ll bid farewell to the beautiful ever green countryside, en-route, you’ll make a stop at the Uganda Equator and proceed to Entebbe for departure flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival you will self-transfer to your terminal for your return International flight with a lifetime of memories!
