On arrival in Windhoek (early flight) clear Namibian immigration and customs formalities before making your way to the arrivals hall to meet with a representative of African Sojourns. Here you will have a full briefing of your trip before being assisted to collect your 4x4 Toyota Fortuner (automatic air conditioned vehicle). From here make your way to Erindi Private Game Reserve where you will have 2 nights to enjoy the bush and wildlife that is found on this private reserve. This is a drive of approximately 3 hours. You will have 4 game drives during your stay on the reserve.
Today make your way to the magnificent area of Erongo where you can enjoy the scenery as well as bush and nature walks. This is a drive of approximately 2 1/2 hours.
Today make your way to the coast and to Swakopmund where you will have 3 nights (2 full days) to enjoy all the activities that this coastal town has to offer. This is a drive of approximately 3 hours through the southern Damaraland area. Included in your stay is a morning sailing on a catamaran viewing birds and sea life and a morning on a tour of the desert learning about all the smaller animals that are found in the dunes. The afternoon will be at your leisure to enjoy the sea, relax on the beach or to go quad biking (additional costs).
This morning make your way south to the Namib Rand area and to the Sossusvlei. This is a drive of approximately 5 hours. We recommend you stop for break at Sesriem and enjoy some of the local bakery's delicious apple pie! Your accommodation today is located just outside the park gate entrance with easy access to the park and wonderful scenery of the area.
This morning make your way out of the park and east to the red Kalahari sands where you will have a night at the Kalahari Anib Lodge. This is a drive if approximately 4 hours. Here you can enjoy the swimming pool as well as many of the other activities offered from the lodge.
This morning make your way back to Windhoek International Airport to check in for your flight to Johannesburg. This is a drive of approximately 4 hours. Please ensure your onward flight is booked for late afternoon.
