One of the world's first natural wonders, Victoria Falls is breathtaking and, unsurprisingly, a World Heritage Site. Known locally as "The Smoke that Thunders", this spectacle is accessible from Zambia and Zimbabwe. The falls are over 1.6 kilometers wide, and in many places the water plunges over 108 meters into the gorge. The typical rainbow will accompany you throughout your visit. Unlike other waterfalls, Victoria Falls has a natural walkway in front of the falls, making for spectacular viewing.
